The Swiss Egyptian Business Association has organized a Ramadan Fundraising Iftar on 4 Jun 2018 at the Marriott Cairo Hotel with the attendance of H.E Ambassador of Switzerland Paul Garnier and an amazing crowd of SEBA members and supporters of the association, aiming to support people with disabilities. The event program included a silent auction to raise fund to support people with disabilities.
Marwa Taher, Executive Director of SEBA has welcomed and thanked H.E Ambassador of Switzerland Paul Garnier and the attendees for their positive contribution and continuous support for the association, "it is with your positive contribution and enthusiasm that we accomplished the aim of this evening to support people with disabilities."
H.E Ambassador of Switzerland Paul Garnier highlighted in his speech the role of the large number of Swiss businesses that have been operating in Egypt for many years, and have been contributing and supporting the Egyptian economy. H.E added, We are very proud of all the efforts made by Swiss companies and investors in Egypt in the recent period.
He also pointed to the fact that so many of those businesses have completed their expansion plans in Egypt despite of all the difficulties that have been facing businesses in Egypt. Pointing to the role of The Swiss Egyptian Business Association in supporting the investors in both countries, and he added that he has been noticing the evolvement of the association's role and performance in the recent period.
H.E added, "today I feel optimistic and confident that there will be more and more projects in the coming period."
He also added that Egypt is not only a country of interest to the Swiss investments in Africa, but it is also one of the key countries in the commercial relations with the Middle East.
